For this class, students will start with a 3 - 4-hour classroom portion to go over how to inspect, operate, and know hazards when lifting a load. The students will then have a hands-on lesson that takes roughly 30 minutes per person in the class. 

This class can take up to eight hours if we have a full 8-person roster.  The certification is good for 3 years.

Spotter Training for Mobile Equipment

This class covers the proper signaling and flagging when assisting a lift/mobile equipment driver.  We will cover each hand signal and proper flagging techniques to allow your spotter employees to ensure safe driving around the worksite.  It is not meant as a traffic control course or VDOT sufficient.

This is a 2-hour course, and this certification is good for 3 years.
